Krav Maga and Kickboxing Instructor - John King                                                                                                                                                                                             John is currently a 1st Dan Krav Maga instructor working his way towards his 2nd Dan.  John is also working his way to Black belt in Kickboxing.  His laid back, friendly supportive approach to teaching lends itself to a successfully engaging personality.  John has been involved in Martial arts and gyms for over 40 years.  John has studied Judo and taught weight lifting in the past too.                                                    John was a chartered accountant by trade and has worked in China, Hong Kong, Poland and France, latterly as a Forensic Accountant, consultant and expert witness, how did he fit in his training?                                                                                                                                                                            John got into Krav Maga and Kickboxing in his later years and says it's the Blackwell Aacdemy and it's instructors who have helped, encouraged and supported him in the gradings and development.  He states two of the biggest wins as his flexibility and fitness.  John says there is no age limit to Krav Maga and although we may have different levels of fitness and flexibility everyone is encouraged to reach their own peak.  He says he has witnessed many students both as a student himself and now as an instructor not only reach what they thought would be their peak but surpass it.  Needless to say John passes this positive message on to his students.
